With the Asus USB device, if it is unplugged whilst the TV app is
running, it does not unload properly and will not subsequently reload
the firmware to the receiver (and seems to require a reboot to be happy
again - haven't tried manually rmmodding everything yet). Shut down DVR
first and unplug it and everything behaves happily, with fw being
reloaded upon reinsertion.
I'm assuming that there is an issue there with unloading drivers through
hotplug whilst they're in use?
