I would agree. I use my Android phone quite happily to browse the web,
email etc. I run my own IMAPS server from my adsl and use that so I have
full access to all my emails. Although I might move to hosting
everything via gmail as it integrates so well with the phone.

I barely use the laptop at home now as my phone just notifies me of new
mails and I can respond using the phone too.
