[Hampshire] Introduction

I am a new return to Linux, having run into too many issues a few years
ago I gave up. However I have recently discovered Ubuntu 10.10 and
started a course as a mature student at Farnborough Tech that includes
modules on UNIX so I am back.
I am currently trying to install V.Box on Ubuntu 10.10 and keep getting
the re-install option, I cant see that I have missed any of the
pre-requisites and I would like a pointer as to a likely direction for
trouble shooting. More than happy to supply more info but which.
