Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.

Lots of the packages have caveats, evidently.
Programs that don't start, or ask the user what to
do, just aren't going to work. I don't have the
time for that level of tech support!

I now have a few to play with, though, and to run
scans against. :-)

And yes, Vic, I am tempted just to install Ubuntu
and tell them it's Vista...
