I've always been intrigued by the 'It is now safe to turn off your PC'
that you get from Windows on shutdown. I mean how do they KNOW it's
safe? I often have the innards strung out across the floor and it
doesn't LOOK very safe. Could I sue MS if I electrocute myself?
Similarly with 'Safely remove hardware' which involves reaching
through the nest of wires behind the PC to extract the USB key. How
safe is that?
