Has anyone tried the latest version of LinuxMint see
http://linuxmint.com/.
This is a distribution based on Ubunto. It is a multimedia system and for
someone like me pretty fantastic. It might be worth looking at as something
to hand out to Newbies.
I have put it on my system and used it for the serious matter of watching
films with all sorts of formats.
