Does anybody else here use dyndns.com?
They seem to have changed some of their services recently.
I got an email from them this weekend telling my account was about to
expire due to inactivity, which was something of a surprise as I've had
the same level of activity for most of the last 3 or 4 years.
With further checking it seems they have removed the "Static DNS" service
and moved everybody over to their dynamic service:

they are making out this is a service improvement, however it looks to me
like a way to try and encourage more people to pay them money...
