I second Adam's wiki comment - I put as much as I can in a wiki now,
however you _do_ need to keep it tidy for it to be useful.

In particular, it needs some structure IMO (search can work, but if
you get 50 matches, it's not helpful) and you must stop people from
"cloning" pages - they should be edited and dead wood pruned.

Depending on what you are doing, I like having pages detailing each
major service/application - how to install it, configure it, back it
up, restart it, where the log files are etc. Documentation for ops in
other words. OTOH it really depends if it would be useful for anyone
or not :)
