Whilst cost is a factor, I wouldn't make a decision about which laptop to
buy on that criteria alone. The keyboard on the One _looks_ like a rubber
OLPC type effort, whereas the Eee has a small but standard style keyboard.
The one is top-heavy due to all the guts being in the screen (it is
primarily a digital photo frame), and with the usb and network ports being
in the top too, I can imagine it being somewhat unweildy to use. Further to
this wifi is an option on the One, whereas it's standard on the Eee. The One
also has a very low speed cpu, less than half the speed of the
_underclocked) Eee. Whilst I appreciate you get by on a very low spec PC
that doesn't mean everyone else does/will.
