This site is currently displaying our maintenance page as I'm currently
upgrading and adding some mods - so not a useful example today.

The upgrade process is fairly straightforward, I see from Paul Tamsens
Zope thread earlier this month that the underlying Zope CMS engine did not
used to be. Adding plugins/features to the site is more complex (more than
one way) and to be honest I don't think Plone is not the most
straightforward CMS as far as systems administration is concerned but our
users like it so I 'just do' (R).

I needed to do quite a bit of work in httpd.conf and ssl.conf to ensure
use of ssl certs when users login (for cosmetic confidence reasons as well
as true security). This involved some hairy apache Rewrite rules.
