The most likely things that will happen are:

* The machine will beep at you when you try to power it on.
* The BIOS will ignore anything more than 1G of memory
* The BIOS will complain you have than 1G of memory.
* The BIOS will complain your memory config is unsupported.

Chances of you physically damaging the machine by doing this are next to
nil.
