I have a Samsung CLP510, which I acquired by accident (should have been
a 550 with PCL5 instead of Samsung's nasty closed source SPLC language).
I have successfully re-chipped the beast with help from a supplier
somewhere in Scotland who sold me the chips for a couple of £. I believe
he also does chips for other printers and can dig up his contact details
if anyone cares to ask. It's now been refilled with toner several times
at vastly reduced cost from buying new cartridges. Interestingly enough,
Cartridge World were no use on this one - almost the same price as a new
toner cartridge from Viking, Staples etc.

Also I can drive it properly with real open source drivers since
recently thanks to the Splix project on sourceforge.
