At least that time! Colour seems to take less time than B&W though IME.

Another vote for Vuescan. It is also a one-off payment (about $100)
for life, including free updates & upgrades. You only need to have the
SCSI/USB drivers installed (IIRC) to run Vuescan, as it works direct
with the scanner.
