Only the obvious I am afraid - remove all encryption and mac address
filtering, broadcast the ssid and start from there. If that works try
adding in the various components one by one until you get one that
breaks it.

Also, try the laptop at a friend's house or somewhere else that will
permit you to hook up to their network, preferably known good with
various cards, in order to further eliminate the possibilities.

I have had cards that would work with 64-bit WEP but not 128-bit, cards
that would connect to a network that broadcast the ssid but not when it
was hidden, cards that were compatible with certain access points but
not with others, worked with a static IP addresses but not dhcp, etc.

Finally, back to the obvious, ensure that you have the latest drivers,
and if that is already the case try the drivers supplied with the
install/mobo CD (if available). Try configuring the card with the
supplied software and if that is no good try it with Windows.

Can't think of anything else and I need a kip - hope you get some
progress with it.
