It's all to do with age ;-) When I was a lad...
Anyway it's a considerably higher spec than either of the two desktop
systems I have here, and VERY much better than my 800MHz Pentium 256MB
ThinkPad which flies along running xfce at 1600x1200 with shadows and
transparency etc.
