Hm,

I also bought Linux-FT, shortly after it first came out. It was I think,
my third copy of Linux. I started with a Slackware with a kernel in the
0.99,xx region somewhere around '92 or '93, IIRC. I'd known of GNU and
then Linux a little before that, but hadn't known how to get a copy (be
in a university, I suspect). I've been using Unix since about '83 or
'84. Mostly Zilog/Exxon's `Zeus' flavour.
